Top Ten Tuesday #1 and a Note.
I should probably start with a note. Perhaps you haven't noticed, but I have taken a strange sort of on-again, off-again hiatus for a long while now. I want to reassure you, though, that I plan on coming back. Hopefully regularly. Life has been up and down for me this past year (starting last March, when my grandfather died, up through this March, when my college announced that they would be closing).
So, in an attempt to be regular, I thought I'd try a meme. I've been watching the Top Ten Tuesdays for awhile, and it looks like fun and an easy way to connect with people. And without further ado, I will continue with this post.
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the Broke and the Bookish. This week's topic is Top Ten on the TBR Pile. (These are in no particular order, by the way.)
1. Huntress by Malinda Lo. I am currently reading Ash, and Huntress is the prequel. The book is so good -- excellent prose and synopsis, deep, well-rounded characters -- that I can't wait to continue in this world!
2. The Story of Owen: Dragonslayer of Trondheim by E.K. Johnston. I am a sucker for a good dragon story, and this one looks very promising.
3. The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima. I've had this one in my sights for a long time -- it seems like a solid fantasy novel, with an excellent synopsis, but I could never find our copy at home. So I checked it out from the library.
4. The Tough Guide to Fantasyland by Diana Wynne Jones. Jones is hilarious and her take on fantasy cliches is truly great fun to read. I started it, but had to put it down awhile ago, and I cannot wait to pick it up again!
5. Ship Fever by Andrea Barrett. This one isn't really YA, but neither is #4, so I'm going with it. I actually have to read this particular book for class, but it sounds really interesting -- short stories all tied together through history and science.
6. A Spell for Chameleon by Piers Anthony. Again, not YA, but this series is pretty much a fantasy classic. My mother (who has read them many times!) highly recommends it, and says the puns are to die for.
7. The Wide-Awake Princess by E.D. Baker. I have loved previous novels of Baker's (including her Frog Princess series), and I look forward to this one.
8. Emily's Dress and Other Missing Things by Kathryn Burak. This one looked like a fun read, full of Emily Dickenson and adventures.
9. Poisoned Apples: Poems for You, My Pretty by Christine Heppermann. This one promises to be full of deep, thought-provoking poems about tough issues.
10. Agatha H and the Airship City by Phil Foglio. I had never heard of this MG series until Amazon randomly recommended it for me. But it sounds very fun and very intriguing.
How about you? What are your Top Ten? Have a blessed day.

It's Wednesday.
This will be a short post. I have calculus homework. And spanish homework. And AP Lit homework. And AP Bio homework.
Here's a small rundown of my life at the moment:
This is shorter than I realized. So, I'll leave you with a quote and just say, have a blessed day. :)
Here's a small rundown of my life at the moment:
- As mentioned, I have a ton load of homework. It must be the upcoming month. Something about March makes teachers pile on the homework.
- I have been questioning my existence, mortality, and what is important in this world, and have concluded it is nothing like what the world tells me is important to my mortality. I will likely not marry, have children, or try YOLO, which appears to mean doing drugs, partying, and/or having sex. I also will not try traveling, bungee jumping, most sports, or watching said sports. I don't think focusing on school will happen, either, at least not public high school. According to my own calculations, books, cats, music, and God feature very heavily in what is "worth living for."
- I finished The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde and am halfway through The Dust of 100 Dogs by A.S. King. Both feature romance pretty heavily, and in the latter case, a rather detailed scene of a rape. I didn't feel like writing a book review. Needless to say, they will not be put on my greatest-favorite bookshelf.
- Sudoku puzzles! I have loved them since middle school, but now I would much rather solve another few sudoku puzzles than do my homework. Which is a problem. Technically. As I mentioned, school does not make it to my List of Things Important to Living.
This is shorter than I realized. So, I'll leave you with a quote and just say, have a blessed day. :)

Quick Update.
So, I planned on doing a book review of Fever Crumb by Philip Reeve, but I still don't know how I feel about it. Sort of uneasy-concluded-finished-with-it sort of attitude. Yea, it doesn't make much sense to me, either.
So, quick update of my life:
So, yea. This is what's been going on. I've started free online courses on Coursera and Open2Study, one on water and one on morality, so I'm not completely academic-free. I've settled on a relaxation day tomorrow; watching TV, maybe going to the library. Not much.
Anyways, I hope you have a blessed day! (Especially if it involves snow and no school!)
*Not literally 90 degree angles. Just really, really steep hills, and confusing turns -- like, fork in the roads instead of the neat square intersections like what I'm used to around home.
So, quick update of my life:
- I went to visit my sister two hours away from where I live, and to take a tour of a college just a few blocks from where she lives. It's the furthest I've been from my house in years. It was like a freaking Lord of the Rings adventure for me.
- That college? Yea, it's very... big. Grand, classical furniture, really good technology, two theaters and nice people and living on campus all four years. I'm applying, but I have no clue if I would actually go there, unless they offered me a full scholarship.
- I was meant to go to another college tour, too, but my mother has trouble navigating big cities like where my sister lives, so we called and rescheduled for sometime next week. My mother's car is a stick-shift with no power steering, and the city in question has, like 90-degree roads* because it's located in the foothills of some mountains. 'Nuff said.
- I've gone driving more! Instead of the small Mustang, though, it's our big ole Suburban. And that thing's a freakin' tank. Still, my dad has relaxed some and says I've been improving already.
- I went to Hobby Lobby. Apart from bookstores, craft stores are among the greatest places to be. They're just so interesting. Miniature Victorian-style dollhouses (about five, all of which would come up to my waist if they'd been set on the ground); strange owl and frog statues; expensive-looking paintings of flowers, street corners, and paths in the woods; many, many decorative crosses; and a whole aisle of stickers. It's like some creative world that exploded inside a mundane building.
- I have had a snow day today and yesterday. And we didn't have school Monday, either, because of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. And I went to visit my sister last Friday. So I haven't ben in school for a pretty darn long time, and I'm getting a little giddy. (Oh yea, and we don't have school tomorrow, either.)
- My laptop has -- again -- shut down on me. This is the one I just got for Christmas. I don't know if it's me, or if I just get really terrible laptops.
So, yea. This is what's been going on. I've started free online courses on Coursera and Open2Study, one on water and one on morality, so I'm not completely academic-free. I've settled on a relaxation day tomorrow; watching TV, maybe going to the library. Not much.

So, Life.
Some of the things that have happened in my life this week --
So, that's my Friday. How about you? Know what sort of snakes are indigenous to Virginia? Read the sort-of memoir about a girl named Virginia? Have you had strange encounters with animals?
Have a blessed Friday and weekend!
- I finished reading The Queen of Water by Laura Resau and Maria Virginia Farinango. I don't want to put a review of it up, though. It's a sort-of memoir, about the indigenous Ecuadorian (and part-author of this tale) Virginia Farinango's childhood as an indentured servant to mestizos, the white people. A very, very interesting read, which is mainly fact with some imaginings and details on Resau's part. I don't want to review it because I feel uncomfortable reviewing something near nonfiction, because... well, it's real. fiction is easier to judge, if you will.
- My little sister Nicole, who has down syndrome, walked into some practically-stranger's backyard and started jumping on their trampoline. They weren't home, thankfully, but I've never met these people. I'm pretty sure they're like, the son of one of my neighbors. And it took almost fifteen nerve-wracking minutes to both find and convince Nicole to come back to our house.
- I found a baby snake in my house, brown scales, 8-9 inches long. Not something I see every day. Actually, I've only seen snakes in parks and the biology-lab-place in the Science Museum. And this one was in my house -- wriggling about on our floor -- and... and... *shudders* Snake.
- Okay, I wasn't that freaked out about it. I found a sort of curiosity in my heart that let me peer at the snake and want to observe how it startled when I stomped my feet. Mom just wanted to trap it in something and put it outside, and then to check for any family members it might be hiding.

Quick Update
I've been busy writing -- I'm, like, less than 10k from finishing this draft and feel I should be able to finish before the end of the month -- so I haven't been thinking too much on blog posts. So, here's a collection of what I've been paying attention to this week.
The Lightning Thief (Rick Riordin)
Yes, this is the third time I've read it. But in my defense, it's been a couple of years since the last re-read, and I couldn't find anything else I wanted. I've been so picky as to my list as of late.
Pinterest (http://pinterest.com/irisleaves/boards/)
I think I've added like, twenty pins to my fantasy board. And random fandom board. And Landscapes, fun(ny), and reflections... I really shouldn't spend so long on this website.
"The Voice" (Celtic Woman)
This is a really beautiful song. Sort of medieval-y, a soprano voice singing of the voice of nature (or God, or any number of metaphysical forces).
Superchic[K]
A music group -- Christian alternative rock from the early 2000s. (Or perhaps just alternative. I'm fuzzy on my music genres.) Some of my favorite songs include: "Rock What You Got", "Alive", "Hey Hey", and "Cross That Line".
There's a lot more, but for now... Have a blessed Friday and weekend!

On My Mind
Here's what is on my (cluttered) mind right now:
That, my friends, looks like a pretty sad list. Apparently, most of my thoughts are currently consumed with schoolwork and writing. Really, school is like, the only time I leave my house. Well, that's not true. There's an event at my local library I want to attend this Saturday. I won't turn into a vampire any time soon.
(Ooh, I could totally write a story about a vampire. How can I twist that definition into something worth writing abou -- .... I mean, I totally have work to do. You know, on my current manuscript.)
Anyways, how about you? What's on your mind?
Have a blessed Wednesday!
*My textbook really does describe the presidents' physical appearances. I'm serious. Just this list of eye color, hair color, age, sometimes even body type. Also their personality, in straight-out terms of traits: oh, they're bold. They're weak. This man relies too much on his advisors. Such awful technique, but then again, I deal with fiction.
They seem to want to turn it to fiction, though; trying to make it as interesting as possible for us teenage youngsters, I guess. I'm still mad at it about calling John Quincy Adams a pimp some 500 pages and a few homework assignments ago.
Sorry for that rant on textbooks, but I seriously hate homework from that thing.
- I have a ton of AP History homework to do. And that's US History -- you know, the boring kind. Elections, the vaguest details you can manage while focusing on the least important stuff. I don't care if you list what the Presidents look like; just describe their
reignterm better.* - I have an AP Language exam on Friday. Three essays, 55 multiple choice in about four hours. Yay. :(
- I'm currently reading The Ring of Five by Eoin McNamee. The author's Irish. Have I mentioned before how awesome I think Irish people are? Because, really truly, they are.
- I love butterflies so, so much.
- Why do I write in complete sentences? This is supposed to be a flow of my thoughts onto a blog post, but it's still written in full, (mostly) correct sentences.
- Tomorrow I have honors math. Meh. My teacher feels the need to teach us calculus, even though it's actually a trig class.
- Man, I listen to some good music. I feel kinda dramatic and awesome right now. :)
- Heh heh. Dragons...
- Should I write a story about dragons? It'd be pretty cool, just add a little characterization, a bit of plot... Hold up. Must stay focused on current manuscript.
- Ooh, manuscript. Such an intimidating name for such a mess. I prefer calling it "the story", which refers to everything I write except poetry. You know, like, "I'm working on my story. My story's not ready yet. My story needs so much work, I want to cry about it."

Hi, Sorry.
I meant to do a book review today. It was going to be a good one, too -- The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater. But I haven't gotten around to finishing it. Because I haven't done enough reading and writing and I've done too much staring at my ceiling.
Right now, it's like, 9:30 at night and I still haven't done my homework. I'm shorted out on sleep. There's barely enough sweet tea in the fridge for waking me up tomorrow morning. I didn't finish my book. I'm not having too good a Monday.
But, let's look on the bright side... uhmmm... The world hasn't run out of books! And tomorrow I can watch TV all day if I want to. And... my handwriting is really pretty. (Not my blog post handwriting, or computer writing, obviously -- they're digital fluff. There's pretty much the one font for the internet.)
Anyways, this is a post to tell you that I apologize for not doing what I'm supposed to. Even now, I'm considering just taking a C on my homework. Just telling you.
Have a blessed day today/tomorrow! Here's a picture quote, because I feel this post is too short.

A Quick Update and Apology
Hello! I apologize for my brief, unintended hiatus. It's been schoolwork, headaches, and 2 or 3 Law and Order: SVU marathons.
So, it's Wednesday...
Update on my life: meh. We have spring break the first week of April, so the teachers are ramming information down our throats, especially in the AP classes. Exams are in May, so they all plan on spending the month of April reviewing for it. Which means, they have to get through teaching everything they have to teach before spring break.
Anyways. Enough of schoolwork! Here's a list of songs I love and decided to share with you. Listen, love or hate.
Upbeat:
Owl City -- Shooting Star
Krystal Meyers -- Make Some Noise
Sad:
The Corpse Bride (yes, the movie!) -- Tears to Shed
Britt Nicole -- When She Cries
Heavy:
Linkin Park -- New Divide
Skillet -- Monster
Have a blessed Wednesday and Thursday! Keep Calm and listen to music!

Another On My Mind
I know, I know, I've written update after update. Internet's still acting up a little; but it should work better in the next couple days.
In the meantime, this is what has been on my mind lately:
I've reached about 27k words. I told myself I would have 39k words by today, but I got sidetracked on Monday. I was watching the Next Great Baker on... I think it was the Food Network. I've never watched the show, but on Monday I watched like, six straight hours of it and then the finale. Dang, those people are cutthroat. No wonder I was glued to it.
Anyways, I've learned some interesting things about my writing:
For one thing, I make weird, unconscious literary references. Like when my MC calls everyone "little honey", that's actually the name of a baby in a Netherlands fairy tale, called the Cat and the Cradle. I came across that fairy tale again in a book of cat fairy tales, so when I saw the baby's name, I was like, "Weird. That's just like -- oh, wait. I've read this book before. No wonder."
I use the word "I" a lot. Wow. It starts off most sentences; I really need to fix that.
And, also, it feels really list-like. This is the 2nd draft; it feels kinda like the first, where I'm just listing my MC's actions, and her emotions. It only feels alive when I go into extreme detail. Perhaps you can expect a future post about extreme details in the future; though that subject has been pounded to death by the mallets of much more experienced writers than I.*
Anyways, have a blessed Wednesday. And Valentine's Day. :)
*I don't remember what writers. I think I've been reading too many internet articles and not been spending enough time writing.
In the meantime, this is what has been on my mind lately:
- Our report cards have come out, and since I'm a junior, it includes my GPA and class rank -- my GPA is just shy of a 4.0! I'm really happy. I worked hard for those Cs, Bs, and As.
- I have an AP American History test tomorrow. Meh. :(
- I also have a vocabulary test in AP language. :(
- Tomorrow is Vanlentine's Day, so Happy Valentine's Day, people who celebrate it! I don't. So, really, I just hope one of my teachers does and they give me candy.
- I've been waist deep in AP History homework. Roosevelt, Taft, and Wilson, oh my!
- My writings are wandering and confused. I don't know why I decided to pull griffins into the mix, no matter for how short a time.
- I really want pizza, for some reason. Or chocolate. But I can't have either, because I have no money.
- I wrote a play in Creative Writing. What possessed me to write a play about love? It sounds so melodramatic.
- I'm reading Narnia! Meep! :D I've only read the Magician's Nephew before. Well, really, my mom read me the Magician's Nephew when I was like, eight years old.
- I keep repeating the lyrics of the Battle Hymn of the Republic in my mind for some reason.

Quick Update
My internet's being really weird. I haven't had proper connection in days. So, this is a short post on updates.
For one thing: I actually joined Twitter. *whew* What a big leap for me. I haven't actually been on it for awhile, because as I said, my inernet's hates me. But I did it. (I'm not a technology sort of person. Or a people person. So, joining Twitter is akin to leaping off a cliff for me.)
Another thing: Since I have no internet, I've been writing! Sort of. I hope to reach 84,000 words of my re-worked second draft by the end of February. This is also feels like a cliff jump.
Thank you for voting on my poll! I will try to write more on Wednesdays. In fact, this was supposed to be on a Wednesday. But my internet didn't work at all yesterday, so I ended up writing 3k words and listening to my radio.
I don't know yet, but I might post the link to my Twitter. And possibly my Tumblr and Pinterest as well, but those contain pictures of randomness, art, cats, Doctor Who, bad word puns, and possible-future-ideas-for-stories.
I currently do not know about Monday's book review. Or tomorrow's Follow Friday for that matter, but for different reasons. Tomorrow, I don't know how my internet will be acting; and Monday, because I've been reading a book of cat fairy tales, and ignoring my usual reading schedule. I can summarize some pretty interesting cat stories on Monday, if it comes down to it.
Lastly, I plan on trying to up my reading-and-commenting-random-blog-posts. I know, I take on a lot at once (84k and blog reading!?) but I hope I'll manage it. And, at worst, I'll try again in March. (Not the writing; at that point, I hoep to simply be editing, not rewriting.)
So, please enjoy this pictureswhile I wish you a blessed Thursday. =D

On My Mind (and its Contents)
What have I been thinking?
My mind doesn't stick to one topic. As you can see. This post is mainly here because I felt I was blog-slacking. I haven't posted anything but book reviews and Follow Fridays. Gotta step up my game, man.
Anyways, I'll try to find something worth writing about on Wednesdays. Any suggestions on what you want me to write about?
Ooh! A poll in the sidebar, asking for what you want. Seriously, I'm writing stuff off the top of my head without any clue as to whether you actually care about my random bletherings. Please vote on what you'd like to see more of. (Within reason. I am a stay-at-home teenager.)
Anyways... I've already run out of things to say. Gracious wisdom ...*grumble*fakeswear*... -- please vote. Have a blessedweekend I mean, Wednesday!
- I have not posted on a Wednesday in awhile.
- I should join Twitter. I've never actually seen its homepage, but it couldn't be that difficult to navigate....
- I really don't want to continue writing the second draft of my novel. The first draft was hard enough.
- I should really continue writing my second draft. Halfway through it already, right?
- I want it to be Friday already. Or, even better, Saturday.
- Ooh, aluminum foil! Shiny.
- I should look into agents and the publishing industry more. I should also look into colleges.
- Wow, what possessed me to think of trying 4 AP classes next year? Isn't senior year a time to slacken off a little?
- Ugh. I have a math test tomorrow. And chemistry. (Because just chemistry class is enough to make me dread odd days.)
- Rorshach inkblot test!
- The weather needs to make up its mind. Last Friday, it was snowing. Today, it was almost 80 degrees outside. (Farenheit, thankfully. If it had been 80 degrees celsius, I would have melted.)
- Vault of Souls. The Sunset Decades. Or the Sunset Century. Those sound like cool titles. Not strictly relevant to my novel, but I can always write another novel that does fit. In fact... *Plots dastardly conflict*

On a Quick Update
Hi! I'm at the beach, on vacation. Yes, it's the middle of the winter, but who cares?
Hope y'all had a merry Christmas! This is one of the spaciest times of year for me -- no thoughts, no ideas, just random fluff in my brain. So, no proper post today.
I'll try to be back on Friday. I'm currently part of the way through Brisingr, which is the third book of the Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini (you know, remember my post on Eragon, over there in the archives?). I've been listening Owl City instead of revising my novel. You know, the usual.
I'll continue my history Wednesdays next week. This week, as I said, my brain is kinda mush and fluff. Sorry.
If I get a chance, I might take a couple pics of the beach and post them on Friday. Have a happy vacation week, y'all! (Or a blessed day if you're not on vacation!) Here are some friendly quotes for your inspiration.
Hope y'all had a merry Christmas! This is one of the spaciest times of year for me -- no thoughts, no ideas, just random fluff in my brain. So, no proper post today.

Follow Friday #28
Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.
Q: What have you learned from book blogging that you didn't know before about the publishing industry?
Umm... I learned what ARC stood for. I learned what an author interview/cover reveal/book tour looks like.
I learn more about the publishing industry through my internet trawls, stuff like agents, querying... stuff I kind of have to know if I'm going to get my book published one day. Book blogging, in and of itself, teaches me the reader's perspective, things like promoting a good book; I normally go out and search for the writer's stuff myself.
That make any sense? I hope so.
P.S. I'm going on vacation to the beach next week (starting tomorrow, and going till next Saturday). I don't know if I'll post on Monday -- vacationly stuffs to do, you know -- but I'll probably post Wednesday and Friday.
Have a blessed Friday!

On Quotes and Music
Today, I was looking through Tumblr and found this quote:
This kind of reminds me of What Faith Can Do by Kutless. and The Lost Get Found by Britt Nicole. Both lovely songs.
I don't really know the point of this post. I think it was to say sorry for not posting a book review on Monday. But I found this quote instead. You're welcome.
Have a blessed day!

On Poetry
I have nothing planned. So I wrote a poem for you:
Thy Infinity
Indigo swirls
I cannot see the end
Or is it the bottom?
Everywhere the same
Underneath me, above, around
But at least it is
A fascinating color.
Poetry is not my strong point. I'm still doing nanowrimo, so don't judge me too harshly. (I haven't dropped out yet! I am so proud. I dropped out long before this last year.) I'm up to 35,000 words, despite the homework piling up around my ears.
Not to mention my cat's kittens (they are about four or five weeks old now) are starting to climb out of their box. There are three of them, but only two are climbing around, squealing and distracting me from writing. The third is a runt, who I have to feed replacement milk every other hour: he is so adorable. I named him Woodstock (after the little yellow bird from Charlie Brown) and I feed him every other hour. (Or so.)
Nothing else to say, really. I started reading The Book Thief (Markus Zusak). I may or may not have a review for that on Monday. Other than that... have a blessed day. (And a blessed Thursday, since I don't post on Thursdays.)

In Which I Update and Advise
Gah! Running behind on everything. Just schoolwork, homework, schoolwork.
I get so little sleep from all this. I stay up for hours, sometimes the entire night, thinking about what I forgot to do here but it's too late to actually do it now. About what I need to do the next day, or what projects are due what date, or what my grades are in one class and how I can bring it up from a D to a B.
This is a rambling way of telling you I didn't plan a post for today. But it's also implied advice.
Sometimes worry makes you suffer. Your creativity, your sleeping, the amount of time you spend writing. School teaches you that you need to be productive in everything you do, every minute of the day, using your time wisely.
Personally, I spend more time trying to be productive in that way than I do actually being productive. Let me explain: I worry about my productivity, and I lose sleep over it. When I lose sleep, my productivity level drops because when I don't sleep, my attention span suffers. Then I worry even more because my productivity level has dropped.
The boatload of homework doesn't really help, either. It's fine that your teacher gives you an hour of homework; but then, you're taking seven classes, and when all teachers give you an hour of homework, you cry and do your best to finsih each in half an hour so you have time to sleep.
There are a couple things I suggest:
1. Try to find something you like. In EVERY subject, every place. That's what your teachers want, right? It makes working on that stuff a lot easier. That's what your boss wants, right? Loving your job means you're more efficient. That's what you want, right? You're so much more likely do get what you need done when you like it.
2. There is so much stuff in the world sometimes that #1 is impossible. Forcing yourself to do so makes an hour-long project drag into three hours. I know this from when I was little and my mom told me to clean my room. So, perhaps you should simply schedule a time to do it, and schedule a little time for infrequent breaks. Take a walk or make tea or something.
3. Sometimes, I find that forcing myself is the only solution. You can't like everything, and let's face it: life tends to throw something unexpected at you to ruin your lovely little schedule. So, sit down and coax it out as painlessly as possible. Bottle of water (or cup of coffee or tea) and some music on, and just focus for short bursts of time. Force the right words or planning or actions out. I still recommend breaks.
4. Don't stress out over it. I find that sometimes you need to remind yourself that this is doable. "This is easy, I know this. It's simple and totally, 100% possible." This really helps if you're a student and you're learning something new. Something that doesn't fit in your brain right, even if your (*cough math cough*) teacher lectures on it for an hour and a half. Your brain is tricked into thinking it really does know this, and makes it easier to grasp in reality.
I hope you (and I) get something out of these four little tips. It may or may not work - #4 helps me pass math pretty much every school year, but no matter how hard I try, I cannot find anything to like about it to save my miserable hide.
What do you think? Do you lose sleep over this ingrained school maxim? Do you find yourself itching to work and feeling guilty about any break? Have you tried any of these tips?
Have a blessed... night! (Sorry this is such a late post.) So, have a blessed tomorrow!

Updates
Good Sunday and last day of September, followers. (And I've made it past 111 followers! I feel like I've bested Bilbo Baggins, when really I haven't done any such thing. Thank you for allowing me to feel satisfaction at having read the LoTR trilogy.)
I'll give you a basic rundown of the next week - Monday I have a book review waiting, Wednesday I might post a short spiff (yay for you - admire my jumpy writing skills!) and Follow Friday on Friday. I find this little list sad, for some reason.
I might change a few things around on the blog, about the sidebar and on the pages. Probably not the background - I like the black + white + blue theme I've got now.
Anyways, I wanted to let you know that between school and the beginnings of research on my novel (Yes, I've waited until I started my first draft, but it's a sloppy copy - I can go back and change the minor details I need to research) I might be awhile in posting another book review.
Tomorrow and perhaps next Monday I'll have a review up, but it might start slacking off after that. I joined an after-school choir at my school every Thursday and I'm going to Sunday School more often, as well as the homework I have steadily piling up. This leads to less reading time. I might start picking up again about November, or earlier.
Anyways, that's all I need to remind you of. Here's a pretty quote. Have a blessed Sunday!
